Good morning, we are starting the day with a beautiful sloth crochet pattern. We start the sloth crochet pattern with the legs first and then continue with the body. The legs and body are made as a single whole. Then we make the other parts and fix them all. To do this, the designer used a 5mm crochet hook and plush yarn. The sloth toy’s eyes can be 12 or 15 mm. Sloth Crochet Pattern

Materials

Light brown, dark brown, and cream yarn (I used a yarn called dolce by yarn art).
Crochet hook 5 mm.
Tapestry needle.
Scissors.
Stitch marker.
Stuffing.
Eyes (I used 12 or 15 mm).
Black felt for nose.

Hair

Make a slip knot and ch 5, sc into the 2nd ch from the hook, 2 hdc, slst.
Ch 4, sc into the 2nd ch from the hook, 2 hdc, slst into the same stitch you previously slst into.
Repeat this two more times. You should have 4 hairs. Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing.

Eye patches (in dark brown color) x2

Slip knot and ch 6, sc into the 2nd ch from the hook, and mark that stitch with a stitch marker.
3 sc, 3 sc into the last stitch. Turn over your work and 4 sc, 3 sc into the last stitch.
Slst into the marked stitch (14)

Assembly

Sew arms beneath the head at either side at R22.
Sew the face to the head. Before sewing the eye patches you can insert your safety eyes on them. Place the eye patches using pins and sew them on the head. You can sew the eye patches starting from R3-4 of the face.
Another option is to glue the eyes.
Sew hair at the top of the head.
Use felt or embroider nose.
